Privacy policy
This document explains how personal data sent through forms, the contact widget, newsletters and future commercial enquiries is handled inside Salou Insider.
Base revision: 26 April 2026.
1. Data controller
Before public launch, this section should identify the individual or company operating the project, including professional address, contact email and, where applicable, tax or registration details.
Until that final identification is published, Salou Insider uses this policy as the operational basis for handling forms, messages and potential lead capture.
2. What data is collected
The platform may collect name, email address, enquiry type, message content, browsing language, referring page URL and basic submission metadata required to manage the conversation.
If a newsletter or lead-generation system is activated, contact preferences, interest lists and consent timestamps may also be collected.
3. Processing purposes
To respond to user enquiries, maintain an operational record inside the internal support system and manage requests related to tourist information, collaborations or editorial corrections.
At a later stage, processing may also cover informational communications, commercial lead follow-up or requested alerts, always subject to the proper legal basis and consent controls.
4. Legal basis and retention
The main legal basis will be the user’s consent or pre-contractual steps taken at the user’s request when forms are submitted and the relevant checkboxes are accepted.
Messages should be retained only for the period reasonably required to respond, preserve editorial traceability and comply with legal obligations or claims. The final retention schedule should be fixed before launch.
5. Sharing and providers
Data should not be disclosed to third parties except where legally required or technically necessary to operate the service, such as hosting, transactional email, analytics or CRM providers, always under contract and with appropriate safeguards.
If external tools such as Brevo, MailerLite or customer support platforms are activated, this policy must be updated to reflect them explicitly.
6. User rights
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability in accordance with applicable law.
The specific legal contact channel must be published before final release.
