Main reading

The Catalan Tax Agency published the rates effective from April 1, 2026. For the rest of Catalonia, a 4-star hotel rate stands at €1.80 per person per night and a tourist dwelling at €1.75 per person per night.

ATC also states that the tax applies per person and unit of stay, up to a maximum of seven nights in the same accommodation over a continuous period.

Inside the guide, this is exactly the kind of information that should be treated with editorial transparency: official data, a precise date and a direct link to the rate table, without inventing categories we cannot confirm.
